In a nutshell our eportfolios are available online where users log on and interact using an easy-to-use interface.  There is no need to install software locally on your machine, no need to carry resources with you everywhere you go.  All that you need is an Internet connection to access the eportfolio.

What is an e-Portfolio Colony® ?

A Colony is a group of 20 e-portfolios (4 for 50GB) responsibly sharing a web server and its resources.  Just like the real world, Colonists must use resources responsibly, conserving whenever possible.  Each Colony shares server resources and a quota of 200GB monthly traffic.   That’s 60 hours of streaming video with a 10GB e-portfolio.

A Colony will be automatically suspended until the end of the next 30 day cycle if resources are over used.  This can be avoided if Colonists® use video and audio content responsibly and considerately for school work only.

Each e-portfolio is anonymous to others within the Colony.

Quite simply, e-portfolios would be less affordable if server resources (disk space, traffic, memory) were not shared efficiently between multiple users.  We have limited the number of users per server to provide optimal resources for each e-portfolio. 

Resource greedy e-Portfolios, such as personal radio stations, will be shut down without notice.  We also recommend setting your options to prevent Search Engines indexing your portfolio and bringing an unnecessary increase of public traffic.
